For Vernon, Hills, IL-based computer reseller CDW Corp., 2005 was a record-setting year in a variety of fiscal categories, including fourth-quarter and full-year sales and income.
For the quarter ended Dec. 31, CDW netted $70.5 million, up 12.5% from the fourth quarter of 2004. Net sales for the quarter were $1.61 billion, up nearly 7% from the previous year. Average daily sales for fourth quarter 2005 were $25.5 million, an 8% increase from $23.5 million the previous fourth quarter..
Net income for the year was $272.1 million, a 13% increase from 2004’s $241.4 million. And annual revenue rose nearly 10%, to $6.29 billion from $5.74 billion. Average daily sales for 2005 were $24.7 million, compared with $22.4 million in 2004.
