Fred Young resigned unexpectedly on Tuesday as CEO of Black Box Corp. In announcing the news, company did not disclose a reason for his departure. In the meantime, the office of the chairman will manage the provider of networking products and services until a new CEO is hired. The office of the chairman includes Terry Blakemore, who will act as interim CEO; chief financial officer Michael McAndrew; senior vice president Francis Wertheimber; and chairman of the board Thomas Greig.
